Sugar cookies

 On thursday my sister Amy Invited us over to make cookies! It wes a blast! We have sort of made this a family tradition. We get togather for a few of the holidays and make cookies, Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's and Sometimes Easter. We have a great time and everyone goes home with full bellies and an all night sugar rush (Jk). I'll post the recipe it's way delicious! 

1 1/2 C. Butter (softened)

2 1/2 C. Sugar

4 eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

5C. Flour

2 tsp. Baking powder

1 tsp. Salt

Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla, Stir in flour, Baking powder and salt. Cover and chill dough for  at least an hour. 

Preheat oven to 400* Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface 1/4-1/2 inch

Cut into shapes, place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet for 6-8 minutes.
